Christmas Jumper Day

Students and staff donated £1 to Save the Children to wear a Christmas Jumper last Friday

There were prizes for the best home made jumpers and for the tutor group with the highest participation. Miss Conways tutor group 7S had the highest participation and were rewarded with a tub of Quality Street, Miss Conway was also sporting her home made Christmas Jumper! We raised approximately £140 for the cause. Selection boxes were given to the best home made jumpers at break- time and all who turned up at break for judging received chocolate for their trouble. There are more pictures in the Photo Gallery

The head girls had also arranged a bake sale to raise money for their Prom next summer which netted around £40. Y11's will be running other events to raise money for the Prom in the new year.

A total of over £200 was raised, this amount will be doubled by the Government for Save the Children
