Principal’s Message

What a year it has been with so much to celebrate. We have finished the year with our annual sports day, and what a day it was. The sun shone, which was quite remarkable given the weather we have been having and the girls seem to very much enjoy the experience. The winning house was announced at Assembly - do ask your children who it was.

I wish to firstly thank all the students for their hard work, commitment to their studies and for being such amazing ambassadors for the school. Our Senior Student Leadership Team have made a significant contribution to the life of the school, and they led an assembly today, thanking all the staff who are leaving. They are a credit to us and to you.

I wish to also thank all the staff - without them none of this would be possible. The dedication they show to every child in this school is quite remarkable, creating an enriching learning environment, as well as creating a vast number of opportunities for them. Thank you!.

And finally, I wish to thank all of you for the support you show your children and RGS. We very much appreciate it. I have written to all of you, in parts to notify you of the new academic year arrangements.

Year 11 leavers from 2024 are invited to collect their GCSE certificates between 8.00am and 4.00pm, during term time, from Monday 25th November 2024. Please come to the reception and ask for Mrs Winton

I wish our students, staff and all of you a well-deserved summer break.

Kind regards

Marika Farrugia, Principal
