Following a rigorous application and interview process Reading Girls' School now has a Student Senior Leadership team (SSLT).  This is made up of 31 pupils from Years 9 and 10, who are divided into our 5 committees and  whose purpose is to work alongside the Senior Leadership Team in developing the school.

Each student works with a member of the Leadership team with a focus on a chosen area of the School Development Plan.
These include :

• Community
• Leadership 
• Events
• Student Voice
• House

The SSLT are expected to plan and lead their areas and this includes attending Senior Leadership meetings to feedback and discuss next steps.

The SSLT will receive leadership training in the Autumn term each year from an external expert; equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to succeed as leaders in all aspects of their lives.
