Edulink One
New Parent Communication Tool
We have sent you details of a new parent communication tool called EduLink One, which we will start to use to give you important information about your daughter/s.
Currently, we use text messages, emails and letters to communicate with you. We will continue to do this for the current time, however, once we are confident that all parents are able to access and use EduLink One, we will move to this as our main method of communication.
EduLink One is a free app. This app will eventually allow you to access a range of information about your daughter/s in one place. This will include your daughter’s attendance, records of her achievement and behaviour, and a copy of her timetable. You will also be able to use the app to make appointments for parents’ evenings. These features are not yet enabled, but we will enable them once enough parents have downloaded the app and we feel confident that it is set up and working properly. For security, this system requires an individual parent login username and password. If you have more than one child at the school, you will only have one account and all children will be visible through this.
To access this new tool you will need to:
- Search for Edulink One from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install the app to a mobile device – you can have it on multiple devices if you wish.
- If you do not have a device suitable for the app, you can access all of the same features through the website at http://www.edulinkone.com
- You will need to then enter our school ID – which is RGS, and we will send you an email with your unique username and password before the end of term. After you have logged in once you can change your password by clicking on the settings cog. You then need to select ‘change password’ to choose something more memorable for you.
If you have any questions, please contact us at admin@readinggirlsschool.net and we will do all that we can to help. We expect that EduLink One will make an enormous difference to the communications that we can have as a school with you, and we are sure that this will further strengthen our partnership in working together to support your daughter’s progress and achievement.
